ServicesCommercial Junk Removal

Commercial Junk Removal in Decatur

We haul out the desks, shelving, equipment and stockroom clutter that pile up in offices, storefronts and rental units. Our crew walks the space first, gives you a written price before anything moves, then works around your hours so customers and staff are not tripping over the job.

What commercial junk removal covers

Commercial junk removal is the planned clear-out of a business space. That can mean a full office after a lease ends, one stockroom after a remodel, or a rental unit a tenant left full of furniture. The work looks different from a residential pickup. Loads are heavier, access is tighter, and someone else's schedule usually sets the deadline.

We size the crew and truck to the job. A steel four-drawer lateral file can weigh well over a hundred pounds empty, and a run of modular cubicles comes apart into panels, steel frames and work surfaces that each load differently. Knowing that before we arrive keeps the day on schedule. We have been doing this work since 2021, long enough to know which pieces come apart cleanly and which ones have to leave whole.

What we haul from business spaces

Office furniture and cubicles

Desks, conference tables, task chairs and modular workstations. We break cubicles down into panels and frames on site, which takes less truck space and fits through standard doorways.

Filing cabinets and safes

Steel lateral and vertical files, storage lockers and small safes. Heavy steel goes to scrap recycling instead of the landfill.

Electronics and e-waste

Monitors, desktop towers, printers, copiers and server racks. Please wipe or remove drives before pickup, since data security is your responsibility. CRT monitors and some batteries need separate handling, and we tell you up front which items fall into that group.

Retail fixtures and shelving

Gondola shelving, slatwall, display cases, mannequins and checkout counters. Bolted fixtures get unbolted, and we leave the anchor points for your contractor to patch.

Rental unit turnovers

Furniture, mattresses, boxes and bagged debris a tenant left behind, cleared so your cleaners and painters can start on schedule.

Signs your business needs a cleanout

  • A lease end date is coming

Most commercial leases require the space returned broom clean. Leftover furniture can cost you part of your deposit or a landlord's own hauling charge.

  • Storage has eaten working space

When a back office or stockroom fills with broken chairs and obsolete stock, staff lose room to work and fire exits can end up blocked.

  • You upgraded equipment

New computers or furniture arrive and the old set gets pushed into a corner. Old electronics are easier to deal with in one planned pickup than piece by piece.

  • A remodel needs a clear floor

Contractors bill for time spent working around old fixtures. Clearing the space first lets the build-out start on day one.

How a commercial pickup runs

  1. 1

    Free on-site walkthrough

We come out, look at the items, measure tight spots, and note stairs, elevators and where the truck can park. Many older commercial buildings around Decatur have narrow stairwells and no loading dock, so we plan the carry path before the job day.

  2. 2

    Written, upfront price

You get a price with no hidden fees, based on what we saw. Same-day and next-day service is available when the truck schedule allows, or we can book early mornings, evenings or weekends so the work stays out of your business hours.

  3. 3

    Protect, disassemble, load

We pad door frames and elevator walls, break down large pieces and carry everything out. Summer afternoon thunderstorms are common here, so we load upholstered items first to keep them dry for donation.

  4. 4

    Sort and sweep

Usable furniture goes to donation or resale where it is accepted, metal goes to scrap, and the rest goes to proper disposal. We sweep the cleared area before we leave.

What moves the price of a commercial job

Price comes down to how much truck space the load takes, how hard it is to reach, and what the items are made of. We look at all of it during the free on-site estimate, so the written price already accounts for what we found and there are no hidden fees on the day.

Volume
The biggest factor is how much of the truck your items fill. Breaking down cubicles and bookcases compacts the load and can lower the cost.
Access and carry distance
A ground-floor storefront with a rear door is faster than a third-floor suite with a shared elevator. Long carries and stairs add labor time.
Weight and material
Steel files, safes and solid wood conference tables take more crew and add weight at disposal. Particleboard desks are lighter but often fall apart, so they take more care to move.
Items needing special handling
Some electronics, batteries and refrigerated units need separate drop-off. We flag these during the walkthrough so they are priced in from the start.
After-hours scheduling
Evening or weekend work can affect the price. We will tell you when we quote, so you can weigh it against shutting down during the day.

Commercial junk removal questions

Something not covered here? (404) 882-6905

Can you work before or after our business hours?

Yes. Many of our commercial jobs run early in the morning, in the evening or on a weekend. Tell us your hours during the walkthrough and we will schedule around them.

Our property manager wants proof of insurance. Is that a problem?

No. We are licensed and insured, and building managers ask for that paperwork often. Mention the building's requirements when you call so we can have the documents sorted before the job day.

Do you take old computers and printers?

We do. Remove or wipe hard drives before we arrive, because we do not handle data destruction. We will point out anything that needs a separate drop-off, such as CRT monitors.

What happens to furniture that is still in good shape?

We set it aside for donation or resale outlets that accept it, and we recycle steel and other scrap metal. Only what cannot be reused or recycled goes to disposal.

How do other businesses rate your work?

We have over 1,200 Google reviews from customers across Decatur and nearby towns like Avondale Estates and Clarkston. Reading a few is a good way to see how our crews handle jobs like yours.
